Getting After It
Lately, with the husband's work schedule, there are many nights where it's just the kids and I. Working out is a huge part of who I am, so skipping a one is not an option. My kids are not an excuse to not exercise. They much prefer me to be a happier, healthier mommy. So working out with them it is. There are many benefits to bringing them along.
I get to work out.
My kids see how important fitness is to me and I'm modeling a healthy lifestyle.
At least one of them is getting exercise as well. Soon enough, Izzy is going to want to start riding her bike. Now that's going to be a challenge, but a challenge worth taking.
And I get to spend time with my kids.
LOOOOVE.

ReplyDeleteMaking it happen, no matter what! Love it! I'll remember this post next time I feel "too tired" to workout or get a run in... If you can do it with 2 kids, then I can get out there and make it happen too!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Espcially the "my kids are not an excuse to not exercise." I couldn't agree more!
ReplyDeleteThis post makes me so excited to use my jogging stroller soon. Just waiting for my baby to be "ready" for runs. I hear it's tough, though! haha

ReplyDeleteLove this! I need to be more proactive about working out with the bambino. Although I must say, I do love the alone time too.
ReplyDeleteLove this!!! Inspiring and so important for people to realize that when you make physical activity a normal part of the day, it just becomes fun and routine and people start to miss it when it's not there.

ReplyDeleteI love it :) I already told Colin that if he wants another baby he'd better buy me a jogging stroller first ;) ....it really sucks that I started running AFTER Logan was born. Otherwise I would've got one of those strollers. You look awesome and I love your header!!!
