Tried It Tuesday

I don't know about where you live, but the weather here in Maine is starting to feel like fall.  I like it but I don't.  Rather bittersweet as today is my last Tuesday of summer vacation.  Not a tragedy.  Just time to start thinking about back-to-school for myself and the kids.   I have a special treat for you today...the unveiling of the Bestowed box.  Even hear of the Bestowed box?  It's a subscription box that is crammed with  My Magisto Video This month's Bestowed Box had:   Energy Fruits.    Texture like applesauce only more fruit and a great fuel for long runs.  Well, at least I thought so!!   Kelapo Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. 100% organic, trans fat free and a very natural flavor.  I used it as an olive oil replacement for my veggies.  Absolutely delicious.   Saffron Road Crunchy Chickpeas.   Non-GMO, crunchy, packs a ton of heat!  I'm still snacking on th...

What's in the March Bestowed box?

Have you tried Bestowed yet?  If you haven't, you are missing out.  Bestowed is a monthly subscription box that gets delivered to your mailbox or door filled with hand selected items by Heather Bauer.   The March box was focused on immune-strengthening ingredients - like lemon, ginger, honey, tea, and oats - which was perfect because March seems to be the month of illness.  It seems like everyone in my house has been sick this month.  I'm definitely looking forward to warmer weather so I can do a huge spring cleaning and open the windows and rid my house of all the germs.  But until then, I'll just continue to load us up with immunity-boosting foods and drinks.   I have got to be super honest with you.  I'm not a fan of ginger.  I used to love it.  However, when I was pregnant with Izzy, I had horrible morning sickness and ate a lot of ginger to keep it away.  Perhaps too much, because now ginger makes me crin...

Happy Holidays From Bestowed

I've been quite lucky to have the opportunity to review the past couple of Bestowed boxes and each month the selection gets even better.  This month Bestowed focused on featuring brands that give back to the community.   Now.....what was in my box?   A great selection of YUM!   Please note, I have to open this box in private and take quick pictures before the vultures (aka my family) find the box and start eating MY goodies!   They are very lucky I like  love them.  Very.    I've already sampled the I Heart Keenwah, Baked Fries, and Kind bar.  I couldn't post without at least trying some of the goodies!   Snikiddy Baked Cheddar Cheese Fries I only snagged a couple of these before Ward took off with them.  He runs much faster than I do, so I didn't bother chasing after him.  I'm so glad I did.  These are amazing!!!  I now need to order more.  I am positive the kids are going to...
