This morning I received a 4 page packet of songs for prom.  Yes.  Prom.  I am one of the lucky jr class advisors in charge of prom this Saturday.  Our task was to go through the songs ...all 125 of them, to determine what's appropriate or not.




First of all, prom isn't 8 hours long (thank goodness for that!), so we aren't going to be able to get all 125 requested songs in anyway.  So, I opened up iTunes, typed in the name and listened.  For the most part it was a lot of fun.  I got to find out the names of some of the songs I have heard on the radio and just didn't know who the artist was.  That part was fun!  

So, now that I've gone through that list, I'm feeling rather confident and happy with the prom music list and now I have a couple of new Prom Inspired songs to add to my playlist!

Socks are very important to a runner.   If they rub you the wrong way, it will make for a very uncomfortable run.  Bunching up, toes too cold, too hot, rubbing - all things that can go wrong with a sock.  I'm sure there are some other scenarios I've left out. Running at night scares used to terrify me.  But, it all comes down to if I want to run I had to get over this fear.  Running in the darkness is my only option if I plan on running Monday through Friday since it’s dark before school and getting dark when I leave school and it’s going to be this way until mid February/March.  I supposed option B would be to rejoin the gym, but I really don’t want to spend the $$ and I don’t really enjoy the treadmill anymore.  So, outside it is! Tommie Rocks + Giveaway!

 A little over a month ago, Jordan from  Tommie Copper  sent me some Tommie Copper gear to sample.  I nearly peed my pants with excitement when the Tommie package came in the mail.  It was a gorgeous fall afternoon AND I had new gear to try out, so I pushed dinner back and made the executive decision to go for a run immediately.  Have you heard about Tommie Copper ?  This company is known for it’s compression gear that is infused with Copper.  So, why does Tommie use copper in it’s compression gear?  From what I gather, copper has been used medicinally for 1000’s of years.  Apparently copper stimulates the immune system to fight infections, repairs injured tissues and promotes healing.  Do you think if I outfitted myself in TC gear and wore it to school everyday, I would fight off those gross elementary kid germs?  I’m tempted to try that out.  Seriously.   Why do people even wear compression ge...
