Run More, Stink Less

I'm seriously not sure how I manage to work during the school year!  My days are packed full everyday in the summer.  This appointment.  That appointment.  Tires. Doctors. Registrations.  Pets.    Then there's track for the kids and my marathon training!Add in the beach time and other fun things... and summer is packed!  



It's not wonder I wash 2-3 loads of super stinky laundry each day!   We're always moving.  Always on the go.  Always sweating.  Not to mention I have a teenager.... so he just naturally has a funk.

Socks are very important to a runner.   If they rub you the wrong way, it will make for a very uncomfortable run.  Bunching up, toes too cold, too hot, rubbing - all things that can go wrong with a sock.  I'm sure there are some other scenarios I've left out. Running at night scares used to terrify me.  But, it all comes down to if I want to run I had to get over this fear.  Running in the darkness is my only option if I plan on running Monday through Friday since it’s dark before school and getting dark when I leave school and it’s going to be this way until mid February/March.  I supposed option B would be to rejoin the gym, but I really don’t want to spend the $$ and I don’t really enjoy the treadmill anymore.  So, outside it is! Tommie Rocks + Giveaway!
