I have seriously lost count of the number of colds that have passed through my family this past cold season.  And every single time, I cringe when I have to take medication or give it to one of my littles (or not-so-little anymore).   First, it tastes nasty.  Second, who knows what the heck is in that stuff!  I usually find myself in the cold medication aisle at the drugstore, looking at medication over and over again, looking for something that might be better for you.

Socks are very important to a runner.   If they rub you the wrong way, it will make for a very uncomfortable run.  Bunching up, toes too cold, too hot, rubbing - all things that can go wrong with a sock.  I'm sure there are some other scenarios I've left out. Running at night scares used to terrify me.  But, it all comes down to if I want to run I had to get over this fear.  Running in the darkness is my only option if I plan on running Monday through Friday since it’s dark before school and getting dark when I leave school and it’s going to be this way until mid February/March.  I supposed option B would be to rejoin the gym, but I really don’t want to spend the $$ and I don’t really enjoy the treadmill anymore.  So, outside it is! Tommie Rocks + Giveaway!
