Welcome to hump day! I hope you are having a fabulous week so far!  Spring is here.... but I'm in Maine.  So spring can mean any kind of weather, and I'm sure mother-in-nature has plenty of variety in store for us!  We started off spring with gorgeous blue skies.  Then the next day we snow and rain. Thankfully, the snow melts quite quickly (most of the time) and the end of the school year is in sight!

The Falaya Racer Top is seriously amazing.  Light weight, flattering, and adorable!  I liked it for running and I can lots and lots of time in it when the outdoor temperatures increase!



The Riverwalk Pants are far beyond the best pants I've ever worn.  They have the "jogger" look, but the feel and comfort go far beyond any "jogger" out there.  Ward and Izzy couldn't stop looking at them and touching them, saying "I want some of those".  Sorry guys!  Mine!!!!


The Elevation Hoodie is super soft, warm and flattering. I love to wear it everywhere.   I haven't worn it running outside, because, well, I haven't run outside a lot lately.  But I wear it to yoga, running errands, to school.  It's an amazingly warm and cozy top!

Socks are very important to a runner.   If they rub you the wrong way, it will make for a very uncomfortable run.  Bunching up, toes too cold, too hot, rubbing - all things that can go wrong with a sock.  I'm sure there are some other scenarios I've left out. Running at night scares used to terrify me.  But, it all comes down to if I want to run I had to get over this fear.  Running in the darkness is my only option if I plan on running Monday through Friday since it’s dark before school and getting dark when I leave school and it’s going to be this way until mid February/March.  I supposed option B would be to rejoin the gym, but I really don’t want to spend the $$ and I don’t really enjoy the treadmill anymore.  So, outside it is! Tommie Rocks + Giveaway!

 A little over a month ago, Jordan from  Tommie Copper  sent me some Tommie Copper gear to sample.  I nearly peed my pants with excitement when the Tommie package came in the mail.  It was a gorgeous fall afternoon AND I had new gear to try out, so I pushed dinner back and made the executive decision to go for a run immediately.  Have you heard about Tommie Copper ?  This company is known for it’s compression gear that is infused with Copper.  So, why does Tommie use copper in it’s compression gear?  From what I gather, copper has been used medicinally for 1000’s of years.  Apparently copper stimulates the immune system to fight infections, repairs injured tissues and promotes healing.  Do you think if I outfitted myself in TC gear and wore it to school everyday, I would fight off those gross elementary kid germs?  I’m tempted to try that out.  Seriously.   Why do people even wear compression gear?  Do they just like wearing tight clothing?
