TV Everywhere!

There was a time in college when I arranged my class schedule around my favorite shows.  Yes I did.  Sadly, working, kids, coaching, and running doesn't really give me the time to schedule my life around TV shows anymore.  Seriously, I can go days even weeks without turning on the TV.   But you better believe it, I always have my laptop near me!  




On the occasional night when I did get to turn on the TV, I would watch the Voice.  You cannot even imagine my excitement when I saw that NBC has launched a new program:  Watch TV Without the TV.   You do not have to schedule your life around your shows.  NBC has made it possible for existing cable subscribers to watch their favorite shows when YOU have time!  

One show I have fallen in love with is the Voice!  There is something about unwinding after a crazy, day with the inspirational stories on the show and of course - music.  I love music!   My favorite aspiring artist has been Braiden Sunshine and I just loved watching his Top 12 performance!




I'm looking forward to catching up on all of the episodes I've missed and staying on top of the Voice with NBC TV Everywhere.

Now it's time to catch up and stay on top of your favorite NBC shows like The Blacklist, Heroes Reborn, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD!

Socks are very important to a runner.   If they rub you the wrong way, it will make for a very uncomfortable run.  Bunching up, toes too cold, too hot, rubbing - all things that can go wrong with a sock.  I'm sure there are some other scenarios I've left out. Running at night scares used to terrify me.  But, it all comes down to if I want to run I had to get over this fear.  Running in the darkness is my only option if I plan on running Monday through Friday since it’s dark before school and getting dark when I leave school and it’s going to be this way until mid February/March.  I supposed option B would be to rejoin the gym, but I really don’t want to spend the $$ and I don’t really enjoy the treadmill anymore.  So, outside it is! Tommie Rocks + Giveaway!

 A little over a month ago, Jordan from  Tommie Copper  sent me some Tommie Copper gear to sample.  I nearly peed my pants with excitement when the Tommie package came in the mail.  It was a gorgeous fall afternoon AND I had new gear to try out, so I pushed dinner back and made the executive decision to go for a run immediately.  Have you heard about Tommie Copper ?  This company is known for it’s compression gear that is infused with Copper.  So, why does Tommie use copper in it’s compression gear?  From what I gather, copper has been used medicinally for 1000’s of years.  Apparently copper stimulates the immune system to fight infections, repairs injured tissues and promotes healing.  Do you think if I outfitted myself in TC gear and wore it to school everyday, I would fight off those gross elementary kid germs?  I’m tempted to try that out.  Seriously.   Why do people even wear compression gear?  Do they just like wearing tight clothing?
