Vitamin Pit Stop's USANA BiOmega Review + Giveaway

ONE WEEK!  Oh my goodness!  The work has been done, now it's time to taper, rest, hydrate and nourish my body.  



And it's also time to weather stalk...EVERY.SINGLE.HOUR!   I'm really not...but it seems like I am.  



Part of nourishing my body is supplementing with USANA's BiOmega, mostly because I want to keep this body healthy! 




Supplementing with BiOmega and Vitamin C is much more realistic and normal than hiding in my house all week or putting myself in a bubble, so there's that.   And I'm seriously trying to not bathe in sanitizer too.  It's tempting.  But I won't.  It just looks (and smells) weird.  Plus, I'll dry out my skin and that would be gross.  

I keep them out on my bathroom counter beside my inhaler so I don't forget!




What makes Vitamin Pit Stop's USANA's BiOmega different from the "other" fish oils out there on the market is that they have lemon oil in them to stop that fishy after"burp" away.   I don't care how good the fish oil is for me, I don't want to taste it later.  Bleh.  So, with that, I owe Vitamin Pit Stop a huge thank you for taking care of that super important detail!  



In addition to the immune support, marathoners...well, everyone really need to pay attention to their cardiovascular and joint health too!  BiOmega also aids memory and learning...which I am in desperate need of all the help I can get here!  I'm seriously tired of walking into the kitchen and not remembering why I walked in there!  Perhaps that's just the old age setting in.

Socks are very important to a runner.   If they rub you the wrong way, it will make for a very uncomfortable run.  Bunching up, toes too cold, too hot, rubbing - all things that can go wrong with a sock.  I'm sure there are some other scenarios I've left out. Running at night scares used to terrify me.  But, it all comes down to if I want to run I had to get over this fear.  Running in the darkness is my only option if I plan on running Monday through Friday since it’s dark before school and getting dark when I leave school and it’s going to be this way until mid February/March.  I supposed option B would be to rejoin the gym, but I really don’t want to spend the $$ and I don’t really enjoy the treadmill anymore.  So, outside it is! Tommie Rocks + Giveaway!

 A little over a month ago, Jordan from  Tommie Copper  sent me some Tommie Copper gear to sample.  I nearly peed my pants with excitement when the Tommie package came in the mail.  It was a gorgeous fall afternoon AND I had new gear to try out, so I pushed dinner back and made the executive decision to go for a run immediately.  Have you heard about Tommie Copper ?  This company is known for it’s compression gear that is infused with Copper.  So, why does Tommie use copper in it’s compression gear?  From what I gather, copper has been used medicinally for 1000’s of years.  Apparently copper stimulates the immune system to fight infections, repairs injured tissues and promotes healing.  Do you think if I outfitted myself in TC gear and wore it to school everyday, I would fight off those gross elementary kid germs?  I’m tempted to try that out.  Seriously.   Why do people even wear compression gear?  Do they just like wearing tight clothing?
