Product Review: Toilet Tree Rechargeable Toothbrush

You may be thinking, what in the world is a running blogger reviewing a toothbrush?  Well, first, let me tell you, I really like to emphasize overall health here on my blog.  Not just running, not just eating healthy, but overall health.  Keeping your teeth and gums clean and healthy is so important!  And second, this isn't just any toothbrush.  The Toilet Tree Rechargeable Toothbrush is a very high quality toothbrush that is far better than any other battery operated toothbrush I've tried before.  




My thoughts.  
My teeth feel super clean.  You know that really clean feeling you get after leaving the dentist's office after a cleaning?  Yep.  I get that feeling every single day now.   

The battery lasts an incredibly long time.  I don't know how long it lasts, yet.  But I'll tell you it's longer than 3 weeks.  When my new toothbrush came, I followed the directions and plugged it in for 24 hours.  After that, I unplugged it - mostly because I needed the outlet for my hair dryer.  But then I left it unplugged.  And now it's been over 3 weeks and my toothbrush is still going strong!

Socks are very important to a runner.   If they rub you the wrong way, it will make for a very uncomfortable run.  Bunching up, toes too cold, too hot, rubbing - all things that can go wrong with a sock.  I'm sure there are some other scenarios I've left out. Running at night scares used to terrify me.  But, it all comes down to if I want to run I had to get over this fear.  Running in the darkness is my only option if I plan on running Monday through Friday since it’s dark before school and getting dark when I leave school and it’s going to be this way until mid February/March.  I supposed option B would be to rejoin the gym, but I really don’t want to spend the $$ and I don’t really enjoy the treadmill anymore.  So, outside it is! Tommie Rocks + Giveaway!

 A little over a month ago, Jordan from  Tommie Copper  sent me some Tommie Copper gear to sample.  I nearly peed my pants with excitement when the Tommie package came in the mail.  It was a gorgeous fall afternoon AND I had new gear to try out, so I pushed dinner back and made the executive decision to go for a run immediately.  Have you heard about Tommie Copper ?  This company is known for it’s compression gear that is infused with Copper.  So, why does Tommie use copper in it’s compression gear?  From what I gather, copper has been used medicinally for 1000’s of years.  Apparently copper stimulates the immune system to fight infections, repairs injured tissues and promotes healing.  Do you think if I outfitted myself in TC gear and wore it to school everyday, I would fight off those gross elementary kid germs?  I’m tempted to try that out.  Seriously.   Why do people even wear compression gear?  Do they just like wearing tight clothing?
